Expoprotection Awards 2026 - Regulations
ARTICLE 1 - AIM OF THE AWARDS
RX France (hereinafter the “organizer” is organizing the EXPOPROTECTION Awards to highlight the most innovative new products presented at the EXPOPROTECTION show, which will be held from 03 to 05 November 2026 at Paris Porte de Versailles.
ARTICLE 2 - ADMITTED CANDIDATES
Only EXPOPROTECTION 2026 exhibitors are allowed to present products/services at the Awards.
ARTICLE 3 – NOMENCLATURE
The products/services presented must correspond to the exhibition nomenclature. An expert jury will evaluate the products/services that will compete for the EXPOPROTECTION 2026 Awards.
ARTICLE 4 – AWARDS
The EXPOPROTECTION 2026 Awards will be presenting several prizes: - Start-up - Gold Award - Silver Award - Bronze Award - Special mention subject to jury decision - CSR Award - 30th Edition Award – Historic Exhibitor Each innovation presented by the exhibitor will be allocated to one of the categories by the organizer. In addition to these awards, the Jury reserves the right to award special mentions. The prizes will be presented in the form of a trophy and a kakemono for the winning exhibitors.
ARTICLE 5 – JUDGING CRITERIA
Two Jury groups will be created, composed of experts working in the following fields: • Jury for the Sector of Occupational and Industrial Risks • Jury for the Sector of Malicious Risks and Fire In awarding the prizes, the Jury will take the following criteria into account: - product innovation, - improvements, advantages of use for the end customer, - the product's technical features, - services associated with the product (after-sales service, maintenance, servicing, etc.). - product ergonomics/comfort of use - product aesthetics/style, - compliance with standards and certifications, - markets covered by the product, - the quality of the application file.
ARTICLE 6 – CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION
To be eligible for the Awards, products/services must have appeared on the French market no earlier than January 1, 2025, except in special cases as determined by the members of the Jury. Products/services must be exhibited on the stand of the exhibitor responsible for their registration.
ARTICLE 7 - REGISTRATION FORMALITIES
For the application to be considered, candidates must submit the following to RX France via the Evessio platform within the specified deadlines: - The registration form sent on request - Documents to be attached to the file requested in the registration form - Payment of the amount of the application fee Any exhibitor may present as many products/services as he wishes at the Awards. He must compile as many entry forms as the number of products/services presented.
ARTICLE 8 –SINCERITY OF THE INFORMATION
Candidates commit to providing only accurate and truthful information to the judging panel and, in particular, to avoid any omission or inaccuracy that could lead to erroneous judgement. In the event of proven irregularity, the judging panel reserves the right to withdraw a prize already awarded or to withdraw the product/service from the competition, without the exhibitor being able to claim reimbursement of the application fee. Candidates may only present products, solutions or systems of their own manufacture or design or of which they are agents or dealers. The participants guarantee to the organizer that the products, solutions or systems do not infringe the rights of third parties or that they have obtained from the holders of intellectual property rights on the products, solutions or systems that they present, all the rights and/or authorizations necessary for their presentation at the Awards. The organizer accepts no liability in this respect. The participants assume full responsibility for their products/solutions or systems vis-à-vis third parties and the organizer cannot be held liable in any way. In the event of a claim by a third party against the organizer for a product, or service of a participant, the latter shall reimburse the organizer for all costs reasonably incurred by the organizer in its defence and for any damages it may suffer.
ARTICLE 9 – PRESELECTION
An initial preselection will be made among the files submitted, which will eliminate applications that do not meet the necessary criteria (product marketed before the date mentioned in Article 6, product outside the scope of the Awards, incomplete file, etc.). The preselection will be validated by all the members of the judging panel. The application fees are not reimbursed for products examined and not retained by the preselection.
ARTICLE 10 – JUDGING PANEL
For each product/service, a complete file is constituted when it includes all the information necessary to enlighten the judging panel’s judgement: the participation file completed by the exhibitor, high-definition photos/visuals, documentation containing the technical characteristics of the product, any additional documents. The products/services are judged by a judging panel made up of experts from the profession, end users from the risk prevention and management. The two groups (Occupational and Industrial Risks Malicious Risks and Fire) are carefully constituted to represent the main categories of professionals concerned by the products they judge. The members of the judging panel judge the products/services on the basis of the information contained in the application file. They obtain additional information, if necessary, via the organiser from the candidates, who commit to provide it to them. Each member of the judging panel gives a series of marks to each product according to the criteria set out in Article 5. Thus,each product receives several marks. The members of the judging panels meet to select a list of products/services for their review. Exhibitors participating in the Awards must be able to answer any questions from jury members by telephone prior to the show. Meeting dates will be communicated to exhibitors by the organizer. Following possible telephone interviews and deliberation, the members of the judging panels will award prizes to the winners. The decisions of the judging panels regarding the selection of the finalist products/solutions and the awarding of the prizes are sovereign and without appeal.
ARTICLE 11 – PROCLAMATION OF RESULTS
The results will be announced during the exhibition.
ARTICLE 12 – CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF INFORMATION
The names and descriptions of the products/services admitted to the competition will be the subject of special communication during the exhibition to the press, professionals and on the exhibition's social media (unless otherwise specified by the candidate, who must specify this in writing at the time of registration). RX France reserves the right to make minor amendments to the text and/or translation in order to make the presentation of the candidate's products/services more explicit and understandable for the Jury and visitors to the show. Any commercial or advertising reference to a prize received at these Awards must specify the exact title of the prize and the year in which it was awarded.
ARTICLE 13 – ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES
Participation in the Awards presupposes full acceptance of all the clauses of the present rules, without the possibility of contesting the terms and results.
ARTICLE 14 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Participants declare that they have not assigned or conceded any intellectual property rights to their products, solutions or systems. They authorize the organizer to publish, as part of information and communication relating to the Awards and/or the exhibition, their full name and surname, the full details of their company, the description they have provided of their products, solutions or systems, without being able to claim any rights or remuneration whatsoever. The participants authorize the organizer to take photographs and/or film as follows free of charge their products, solutions or systems and to use, reproduce and represent, for the time of the rights concerned, free of charge and for the duration of the rights concerned and on all territory, the products, solutions or systems they present, in the Awards communication and promotional tools, and/or the exhibition (Internet, Official Guide, invitation cards, visitor map, promotional video, photography of the Awards and/or the exhibition, press, social media, television broadcast,, without this list is limitative). The participants guarantee to the organizer that they have obtained from the holders of intellectual property rights on the products, solutions or The winners guarantee to the organizer that they have obtained from the holders of intellectual property rights on products, solutions or systems they present, all the rights and/or authorizations necessary for the aforementioned uses.
Article 15 - FILMING (SOUND AND VIDEO)
Unless the participants expressly object in advance, they authorise the organizer and its partners, free of charge, to photograph, film and/or record their voice and image, to disseminate these photos, videos and/or recordings to third parties and to communicate them worldwide to the public, which may be represented (in particular for live or delayed broadcast), reproduced, without limitation of the number of reproductions, and published, worldwide, for a period of five (5) years, in any format, by any method and process known or unknown to date, in whole or in part, on all tangible or intangible media known or unknown to date, especially the internet (the organiser's and its partners' websites and social media) and on any other promotional or marketing tool that they may use for informational or promotional purposes.
Article 16 - MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION OF THE COMPETITION
Cancellation or postponement of the show as well as a low participation rate would automatically lead to the cancellation of the Awards, the organizer cannot be held responsible. The candidate shall assume all the risks linked to the possible non-realization of the Awards and in particular the exclusive charge of the expenses that he will have incurred in anticipation of the Awards.
ARTICLE 16 - MODIFICATION OF THE REGULATIONS / INDIVISIBILITY
If the Awards cannot be held, due to a low participation rate, they will be cancelled as of right. In this case, participants will be fully refunded the amounts paid for their participation. However, participants assume full responsibility for any other expenses incurred at their own initiative in connection with their participation in the event (travel, accommodation, external services), which will not be refunded.
Article 17 – PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
The personal data provided by the participants to the organizer is necessary for the fulfilment, administration, management and execution of the competition entry and may be provided to organizer’s affiliates, the Pre-selection Committee and the Jury to facilitate the entrant’s participation in the competition (“Permitted Contacts”) for that purpose. Organizer processes personal data subject to the RX Privacy Policy at https://privacy.rxglobal.com. The participant may be contacted by the Permitted Contacts for the purposes of facilitating the participation of the participant in connection with the Awards, which may also include entry of the participant on the Awards / show website and/or Platform.
ARTICLE 18 - MODIFICATION OF THE REGULATIONS / INDIVISIBILITY
If the Awards cannot be held, due to a low participation rate, they will be cancelled as of right. In this case, participants will be fully refunded the amounts paid for their participation. However, participants assume full responsibility for any other expenses incurred at their own initiative in connection with their participation in the event (travel, accommodation, external services), which will not be refunded.
ARTICLE 19 – DISPUTES - LIMITATION PERIOD
In the event of a dispute, whatever the subject, the participant undertakes to submit his complaint to the organizer, before any procedure, by registered letter or email with acknowledgement of receipt. Any action taken before the expiry of a period of 15 days following receipt of the said notification will be inadmissible. In accordance with Article 2254 of the Civil Code, the parties agree to set at one year (1 year) the limitation period for rights and actions relating to the liability that the organizer may incur either on his own account, even if it is on the part of an employee, or on the part of a third party, whatever the cause. This period shall commence on the day after the last day of the Trade Show
THE RELATIONS BETWEEN THE PARTICIPANTS AND THE ORGANIZER ARE ENTIRELY AND EXCLUSIVELY GOVERNED BY FRENCH LAW. IN CASE OF DISPUTE THE COMMERCIAL COURT OF NANTERRE SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION
